if the amp sounds sucky when you have a guitar-amp connection but its sounds great when u have effects in the line does it mean that the amp is no good?? just a noob qn cuz i just got my hands on a multifx set.. n i'm lovin the amp since..

hey..does scalloped necks ofter cause the neck to warp faster? i saw some guitars with scalloped necks..and the string's action is super high..is this normal on guitars with scalloped necks?
