hey guys i just rewired my axe however the tone and the volume doesnt seem to work.. the volume when turned all the way down doesnt 'silence' the guitar i stilll hear the guitar itself.. from the speakers.. the tone when played around with doenst have any diff in sound.. the sound is still...

if the amp sounds sucky when you have a guitar-amp connection but its sounds great when u have effects in the line does it mean that the amp is no good?? just a noob qn cuz i just got my hands on a multifx set.. n i'm lovin the amp since..
