This extremely rare pristine piece of precision-manufactured USA-made-goodness embodies the very essence of what all super-classy modern boutique-style axes aspire to be. Conceived in the Jackson USA Custom Shop - this is really as good as it gets ladies & gents.
- Well first off, I'll go ahead & point out the obvious: HOW UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS IS THAT GENUINE 6MM THICK-AS-FVCK CARVED MAPLE TOP?!! Ridiculously vibrant wide flamed figuring, & honestly, I'm usually not a huge fan of sunburst finishes in general - but this thing is just on another planet entirely!
- Super sleek neck-thru construction provides full unhindered access to all 22 frets & the carved body is ergonomically refined to provide complete comfort for every player. It really does have a lovely balance & poise to it in your hands. Think of it as a beefier, ballsier version of an Ibanez S. Despite it's all-mahoghany composition, I could quite literally walk around with it strapped on all day long.
- Unrivalled playability thanks to the compound radius neck carve that just seems to fit your hand perfectly no matter where you are on the fretboard. Wide, flat & uber comfortable (slightly thinner than the regular Soloist neck carve) - it truly is a shredder's dream!
- I can't say enough about how good this thing sounds. Absolutely monstrous massive chunky roaring tone from the all-mahoghany body & neck combo - with a lovely warm distinct character whilst still retaining awesome definition courtesy of that THICK-AS-FVCK MAPLE CAP! Just as much of a riff machine as it is a lead player's fantasy.
- An extremely versatile axe with the classic '59/JB combo for the best of everything from crystalline cleans & bluesy leads through to high gain crunch & searing shred tones. Doesn't matter what you play - chords sound huge, notes are resoundingly articulate, & harmonics & picking dynamics ring through sweet as anything! This Soloist certainly isn't lightweight in the tone department.
- The bridge on this thing is actually awesome - one of my favourite fixed bridges that I've ever encountered with the fully adjustable individual saddles & string-thru style that makes restringing a breeze with the rock solid Sperzel locking tuners!
- The ebony fretboard is one of the nicest I've seen & the MOP custom block inlays are just super cool in a real understated classy-yet-edgy kind of way. Personally, I seriously dig them.
- Extremely luxurious aesthetics with the fully bound headstock, board & body - along with the awesome inlays & mesmerisingly beautiful flamed top - guitars don't come with much more delicately refined sex appeal than this gorgeous girl!
- & of course overall build quality is one of the most impressive things about this axe - being made in the Jackson USA Custom Shop should speak for itself!
TL;DR - It plays like an absolute dream with amazing feel & massive all-mahoghany tone - along with one of the sexiest tops I've ever seen on a super-strat; providing it with a signature blend of luxurious aesthetic class & unrivalled barebones functionality - making it THE ULTIMATE in fixed-bridge neck-thru super-strats.
