Where do I get Maple necks?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a Fender style maple neck to fit on my bass. Squiers preferably.

Please give me suggestions. =)

you're talking about a new maple neck, unless you're looking for something second hand.

try ebay, maybe it'll work for you.

$200 is realistic for a maple neck, even higher maybe. i think when it comes to the neck you've gotta be realistic about your budget too. Full maple neck would go around $300 plus new .. plus finishing too ... must remember that ...

Second-hand necks? They don't have to be the high-end imports. Just full maple neck with a Fender-style headstock.

even if it were not high-end imports it'll be around $200 ... plus minus ...

i think you'll find some choices on ebay ...

I say, don't bother upgrading a Squire bass neck. Its like putting racing tyres on a pickup truck.

If you're on a budget, just get a cheap bass with a full maple neck. Chances are you'll get a similar sound at a much lower cost.
