Zoybar is a modular hardware platform for creating custom electric string instruments and effects invented by Ziv bar ilan in Isreal. The basic Zoybar kits enable people to assemble a variety of electric string instruments that can be mounted with different sound effects.

the modular idea for geetar is cool. Like those modular synth

But the kaoss pad as an added effect for guitar actually not as useful as it seem. Noticing how the player having to tap on individal string with fretting hand and the picking hand to manipulate the pad. Its a bit hard to tap chords or tap out a certain rhythm/melody lines with just fretting hand while the picking hand is on the pad.

if the pickup is changed to sustaniac pickup, it will be easier to have a constant sound source going on, fretting hand to change pitch and picking hand to manipulate the pad.

Imho.

Heh, heres my take of using the kaoss pad with geetar and a 3 parallel loop blender to split dry geetar signal, geetar signal with digitech space station and geetar signal with kaoss pad while controllling the mix via an expression pedal.
