Question re: Nickel Covers on Pickups

Want to get some Seymour duncans.
But really sick of the usual black or white combi's

Just want to know how nickel covers would affect the sound tonally.
Please advise. Really appreciate it

It does change the sound. Less hi end and a little less output. There are more things to find out though.

and the nickel covers tarnish quite easily...if you can get your hands on chrome ones it'll last longer.

just to add, nickel covers are supposed to be sonically more transparent than chrome ones.. *shrugs*

they match your nickel bridge and tailpiece.

they look nicer then normal ones... more classy..
