I was wondering where do I put my EQ pedal in my effects chain?

btw, my effects chain goes like this:

bass>tuner>compression>distortion>chorus>amp

either in front of ur distortion or behind it. some people actually have 2 eqs for one in front and one behind.

bass>tuner>compression>distortion>eq>chorus>amp for me cos u'll get a boost when u turn it on. but thats for guitar and i use it as a mid boost for solos. so im not that sure abt bass. hope that helped though. haha

I put mine after my distortion. but it's up to you, really, you should try both ways and see which works better for you.

anyone pick up a HBE Hemotoma and has some setting to share, i can't dial in the Polish Love Pedal to the Hemotoma. did not get my tone out right tho, it sound muddy and totally crapped out. suggestions? or do i need something with more headroom eg) Xotic Tri-logic preamp?

getting a boss eq and a limter/enhance. to see if that could fix it. the polish love pedal with the hartke bass attack is absolutely brilliant.

so i was thinking..

>polish love pedal > HBE Hematoma > Harke Bass Attack > Limiter Enhancer > EQ > Zoom B2.1u

any suggestions of the chain?
