Let's Talk About Chord Inversions

Basically ... the composition of a Cm7 is C, Eb, G, Bb (Eb as key centre)
Inversions are basically reshuffling the sequence by putting the diatonic chord tones as the root.

1st Inversion is Eb, G, Bb, C

2nd Inversion is G, Bb, C, Eb

3rd Inversion is Bb, C,Eb, G

However some inversions are quite difficult or even inpractical to be played on the guitar. Hence we play it differently on the guitar.

1st Inversion is Eb, Bb, C, G

2nd Inversion is G, C, Eb, Bb

3rd Inversion is Bb, Eb, G, C
