Juno Gi: Buy local or overseas

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone has owned the new Juno Gi? Seems impressive and able to be powered on batteries. But the price tag of about S$ 2,000 is quite expensive, and being a regular buyer on eBay, this could be purchased for about S$ 1,450. My main concerns are a) whether international warranty applies and b) the voltage (110v in US but should be fine if it is powered on international multi adaptor).
Any feedback on the sounds of the Gi and my concerns above appreciated.

JunoGi is using the Fantom G engine,

It's certainly cheaper to purchase overseas. But you need to factor in tax and postage fees. Warranty is certainly an issue. I don't think international warranty applies, but you can check with Swee Lee. Voltage differences can be converted using a voltage converter.

Remember that the price tag in Swee Lee is always higher than the selling price. It's about 30% higher. You need to ask the sale assistants for the "actual price".
