music Shops In KL

I did went to Bentley music last year to enquire about the price and variety,
Bentley is authorized Roland, Fender, Gibson dealers in KL; so this may be the Swee Lee of KL.

Price: plus minus above the same price here in Singapore
after currency conversion.
eg, Roland XV5050 is priced RM$3000
Swee Lee price is S$1300.
maybe slight expensive by S$50 ?
pay cash may get discount, visa no discount.

Variety: 6 storey shop with a Roland music school and music book shop.
In terms of variety, they have more and very well display.

Staff:
The staff that served me has a Dip in Multimedia and IT; and on top
of that - he has ABRSM Grd 8 in Pianoforte and Violin. I trust so is
because this is what's on his business card. Overall, this guy is rather
nerdy.

Yamaha KL is the same as Singapore music plaza, a Yamaha instr dealer;
runs with a school as well. Price and variety almost the same. Size of shop is smaller than SG.

There are still a number of shops I yet to check out. Citymusic has a branch in KL. There's a shop name DO-RE-MI ?

Just look at the number of clubs and pubs in KL, definitely the music shops in KL is in demand.

forget Bentley....there are maybe 15 electric guitars in the entire place. Wasta time.

There is Wo Fat's by Chinatown they sell Gibson.

I say save your money and buy at Swee Lee. God I said tat?? :?

ya well, don't think the yamaha there is worth going. shop is small, n sells mostly low-end products.

ya, agree on high number of clubs, but are there many live bands there? don't really think so...

15 electric guitars only? are you sure?
I went there early this year in Jan, I recall the guitars display are impressive. Maybe I'm wrong?
Since I'm a keybdt, the Roland products are the attraction to me,
the display is definitely much better than Swee Lee.
Rgd the live bands, maybe I'm wrong; the last live band I saw was in Emporium (now defunct) at the beach clubs.
