Guys ... any of u doing guitar paint stripping ... please help me ... i really want to strip the paint of my guitar ...

palm sander is the fastest most efficient way to sand a guitar finish down.

use hand and sand paper takes like forever ! lol .
use machine better .

Proper strippin of body requires several steps...

1. Paint remover ..get the quality gel type from the higher end hardware stores. Strips paint cleanly w/o burning fingers. You will want to work slowly and not remove the actual basecoat of the body.

2. Fine 2000 grit sandpaper to smoothen things out. Those who own a power sander ...its a blessing coz this is a thankless task...work slowly.

Plan A
Ask any nearby schools, for their belt sander. This will ensure flatness, compared to small hand sanders.

Plan B
Rub it with thinner... And then sun dry it...

Buy a nude custom guitar.
