@RicFreak, yeah! Bought it from Tom Lee when they were having a summer sale. It's funny because the regular production like American Std for example after the discount is about the same price as Swee Lee locally - something like $1630 and $1669 kind of thing. Only the Custom Shop was worth buying back and I think I snagged something I really like.

John Palir's take on the LP Junior and Gretsch. Lollartron pickups with mahogany neck and body. Sonice blue finish with light relic and checkings. The neck is finished and sandpapered off resulting in a nice playing area. Lollartron the bomb too!

Loving the smooth almost unfinished neck and the Lollartron!!! Think baseball bat thick.

Went with two pairs of dice knobs to match the funky pickguard. Still work in progress. Thinking whether to change to the old Harmony style cupcake cream knobs instead. Somehow I think white/cream matches sonic blue better than black.

Didn't think I would say this.....but the contrasting colours goes amazingly well. Like a turtle in the ocean
Can't say the same for the dice knobs though....can't do the 'violin' thingy. LOL.
