Hey guys,
Anyone knows where i could get myself a 7 piece drum mic set? i saw 1 at swee lee, but i was thinking of surveying more shops 1st. So if there are any of you who knows shops that sells them, do share it with me alright, thx.

Anyway im looking for the cheapest ones cuz im still a noob in this. experimenting with cheap stuffs and learning how to use the item properly 1st before investing on better ones.
cheers :)

sim lim has a few shops that sell mics, audio interfaces etc, basically all the stuff that you need for recording.

but if you're in need of advice and good customer service, go find nigel at drum resources

does the shops in simlim sells drum mics in a set of 7? or do i have to get individually?

drum mics

Hi
suggest u go Swee Lee at Sims Place and ask for Helmi, he will advice you. He is the drum specialist there

if you're going for budget, get the samson audio 8 kit at swee lee.

8 drum mics for about 600+.

I got it earlier this year.the sound isnt that great.but the drum mic clips are really useful. u just need mic stands for the overheads only, and the pencil condenser if u want to use it.

i trigger the kick and toms so it doesnt really matter to me.
as for snare,i use an sm57.

I have some sample recordings using the samson mics if u want, just give me a pvt msg.

City Music have a drum kit set from wharfedale Pro. It's 7 mic set for under $450..

That's what I think I saw on display last 2 weeks.

okay my bad memory...

what a bargain price for drum kit mic.

I've been using Wharfedale Pro Mic DM2.0 and DM4.0 and they sound reasonably and easy to drive. It does not sound cheap...

that is truly worth buying for a newbie... I think.
