You're on a tight budget but want to celebrate the New Year's Eve. Living on the westside? Then head down to Countdown 2009 @ Boon Lay!

There will be appearances of Singapore's finest MediaCorp artiste, including Mark Lee and Henry Thia (Money No Enough I & II 1998, 2008 ), Joanne Peh (Ms Singapore Universe 2002 Finalist and Top 10 Most Popular Female Artiste by Star Awards 2005), Hady Mirza (Winner of Singapore Idol 2006) and many more.

Local bands, 1989, Autumn Atlantic, Cigarette Sex, Inked Out! and Oligarchy will be performing throughout the night!

There will be game carnivals, trade and food fairs, foam party, street performances for all to enjoy throughout the night. At the tick of the clock when it strikes 00:00hrs, the New Year will be launched off with massive fireworks, pyrotechnic, and LED displays! And it's free!

p.s. ramly burgers will be sold at the carnival....
