Good day budding musicians/musicians-to-be! My qualifications are as follow:
- ABRSM Diploma in Classical Piano
- ABRSM Grade 8 in Music Theory
- ABRSM Grade 8 in Singing
- NAFA diploma in music teaching
- Bachelor of Arts in music education
- Keyboardist and Vocalist of The McPärry Band
- Performed for various gigs and self-organised concerts at Esplanade
- 3 years of teaching experience
While I find the teaching of technique and listening very important, I pay more emphasis on building a musician's confidence to play. I will couple it with a few fun techniques when teaching so that you will leave the lessons remembering what was taught and applying them to the next lesson. I am known to be a very patient teacher and a nurturing one at the same time. My students have no problem opening up to me as I am very sociable.
