AMP! again.

ok so i know i posted one a while back about buying a small 10-30watt amp for army useage but the army being as cheap as they are, dont allow us to plug in to the sockets so i now i need an amp that is completely battery run. i know it will probably be an extreme huge tone killer but aiya got sound come out can already. i tried the Vox Amplug but its seriously shoddy at best and doesn't even give a clean sound when i crank it up full. suggestions please!

I'd suggest a headphone amp like the Phil Jones Bass Buddy or the Cafe Walter. Both can be battery operated and are very good.

swee lee sells the micro cube but they are a waste of money. totally incapable of handling bass frequencies. you might as well get a headphone amp
