Zildjian K and Paiste Alpha

are they of the same level?. I know zildjian K's are high end cymbals. but i'm not sure about a paiste alpha cymbal. i've a paiste alpha sensitive 17" china cymbal and it sounds one of the zildjian K chinas i tried at Yamaha. so yeah. help me outttt. thanks!.

From the marketing standpoint:
K - "professional"
Alpha - "semi-pro"

From the aural standpoint: close your eyes and let your ears judge.

the K series are like the sabian HHX series... in marketing standpoint....

but the alphas are made of a different mix of alloy (much more cheaper as the mix of tin is lesser) - to the best of my knowledge.

Yup, it is amazing that the sensitive china is dark. Professional sound with a semi pro price.
