Yamaha DTX500 series with Tama Iron Cobra Double Pedals

Hi all,

My current set up is a Yamaha dtx 550k electronic set and I was looking to add a double pedal. I've found a Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Double Pedal within my budget but I'm unsure whether the rubber pad bass drum is big enough to work with the Tama Iron Cobra.

Yamaha double pedals work perfectly fine but its out of my budget so I'm just wondering if anyone has tried such a combination before and worked out fine?

Any double pedal should work fine on the pad.
If in doubt, bring your kickpad along (just unscrew the support and bring only the front part) to test it.

Take a look at bass drum patch for double pedals......surface area is not that big. Enjoy ur double pedaling!
