From PGS:
At its core, the Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird Repeat Percussions is a choppy and hard tremolo, similar in many ways to the old Vox Repeat Percussion. You can get some very rich and warm tremolo effects by subtly working the rate and level controls. Add some reverb or delay to your signal, and its straight back to 1959. But the Hummingbird Repeat Percussions can also get as twisted as you need it to, and it can get into some vintage style synth oscillations for all you sonic mayhem makers. This pedal has reduced noise than the old Vox circuits, enhanced "chop" and more control over the LFO. Go from ring mod-like octaves, slow moving waves, delay stutters, machine gun stutter tremolo, or anything else you can conjure up. This is a perfect pedal for sonic experimenters and mad scientists types who like to tweak and experiment with an endless palette of wave forms until they unlock the key to the sounds in their heads.

This ain't no wimpy tremolo. This is an ultra modern take on the old Vox Repeat Percussion, but with some contemporary features that make this a perfect pedal for twisted auditory manglers. Get some sweet buttery slow wave pulses to nasty, Atari 2600 inflected stutter and spit. Add an overdrive or reverb pedal to the mix, and now you can really unlock some of the twisted tones on tap with the Hummingbird Repeat Percussions.
