Wts: Seiko 1966 6217-8001 62mas dive watch

Hello everyone,

Up for sale, Seiko 6217-8001 from early 1966. Watch is in perfect working condition Recently underwent full service and clean of movement and case. All original except for bezel dot being re-lumed and hands which are from an early 1970s Seiko 7005-8062 which used the same hands. Seiko produced a number of watches during this era which used the same handset as the 6217-8001. Crystal is original and has correct tension ring, case back markings are worn which was a problem with these early Seikos but are still visible. Keeps excellent time with good power reserve. Need to make room for another watch I have my eyes on I am asking $3000 for the watch Serious buyers please.
