This is a rare DV52 model from Guild, purchased in NYC. Built in the original factory in Rhode Island, USA (1999) before the company was purchased by Fender.
Plays very much like the D55, without all the over-the-top detailing. Understated, clean, classic.
They were made in 2 versions: Satin Hand Finish and High-Gloss. This is the Satin Hand Finish, which was not as heavy as the High Gloss, allowing the instrument's wood to breathe more naturally.
Guitar was purchased in NYC and has an Fishman Aura Ellipse pickup system custom installed by Rudy's Music NY.
Will include High Density Soft/Hard Case by Fender (flight-worthy), 2 pure-gold lead cables custom ordered from Zaolla (worth $200/each).
This guitar was only made in small numbers and is extremely hard to find in the US. Chances of seeing another one in Asia are slim.
