Review written by Mike Haid (Modern Drummer, Paiste Innovations Series Cymbals September 2001, pg. 60):
Great hats. They are just as the name implies in weight and in sound - medium. They have the awesome dual personality of being very articulate while at the same time being medium/background enough not to over power the music. I like the volume level, as when I play a lot of patter work (in fairly heavy music) they stay back in the mix enough to keep me from sounding too busy. They have a slightly dark tone mixed with some Paiste bright, I'm sure due to the sound texture lathing.
