Selling a baby of mine cause I'm upgrading recording interfaces!
It's the M-Audio DMP3 Preamp, and it's very handy if you've got a low-end recording interface. The low end recording interfaces aren't that great at boosting the mic signals when you record, and the sound will be mediocre, or worse, they might add undesirable characteristics to your sound.
Basically the signal flow will be: Mic -> DMP3 -> Your Recording Interface -> Your computer.
For the price the DMP3 gives REALLY good sound. I can vouch for it. Actually, let the reviews vouch for it:
