This guitar is dead mint, no scratches. It comes with the latest electronics OP-4BT with Tuner and Preamp for an celestral sound.
The reason it is made affordable is because Celebrity guitars are assembled in Korea, but all patented Ovation bodies are made in the US. It is this unique body made of composites that projects the sound of acoustic guitars better than wood itself.
What make THIS Ovation guitar different from the rest is that it is made of an exotic african wood called Paduak. It is extremely difficult to machine as this wood bleeds when cut and its saw dust is harmful to breathe so not too many people like to work with this type of wood. The great thing about this wood is that it is rich in mid-tones, close to that of rosewood but denser and brighter in tone, something you'd want in an acoustic guitar.
Also this guitar comes with a super shallow bowl body. Many people love the sound of an Ovation but are put off by it's cumbersome "wok" body would find this shallow mold very comfortable without compromising sound projection.
Words do not do the new design justice. You have to feel it for yourself.
This guitar is very expensive to import. Because it is made of Padauk it weighs a whopping 6kg. Good luck to you trying to freight it over. Seldom played, never brought out of the house, this guitar deserves more exposure. Get it now for $799.
