Well you know what's a Fender Jazz. I don't think I really need to explain much. It has a smooth sound when plucked lightly and has a slightly metallic tone when plucked really hard. Could be used for a variety of genres, especially if you know how to use the two pickups; I tried it for metal once and I can totally see it happening. The bridge and neck sound rather different. Incidentally, the volumes on the two pups are also quite balanced.

The knobs on this bass are set to vol-vol-tone.

Also, it appears that Fender has decided to stick to the original (flawed IMO) wiring- see my post and discussion here- http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f38/jazz-bass-wiring-question-720873/
(If I'm not allowed to link to external sites for information, please let me know)
I grounded it to stop the buzzing. It appears that I tend to have quite a lot of charge on me. Now it buzzes occasionally, but it's much better now.

It did not come with the pickguard when I bought it. I was looking for a pickguard, but I haven't found a Fender 5 pg without custom order.

Bridge has been upgraded to Badass Bass V, and I installed straplocks.

There are some light scratches and stains on the side/back.
Stains- not sure why, I think I rubbed it against something.
