Hi there,
Working Vacation is looking for a guitarist who can handle lead and rhythm competently. We jam weekly on thursdays nights at Clementi (when sussing out songs) and at a studio in town (when songs are sussed out).
All intermediate to advanced mature players here so looking for someone at the same level who can play the songs properly. Improvisation of solos is fine but the main riffs should be there. We are a leisure band but the leisure is taken seriously la. Want to play, play properly. Will look for the odd gig when the band is ready (actually we are ready, just need you to fit in) but we are mainly a relaxed leisure band.
Looking for a team player who can work well in a band setting, understand the role and plays for the song. Not looking for big egos and cronic late comers pls. If you cant even come on time for a jam, you shouldnt apply no matter how amazing your skills are.
At the moment, we have 3 singers, two male (one on acoustic guitar), one female, a bassplayer and a drummer. Vocal harmony is a big thing in this band so if you can sing, power to the band. Now and then, we like to do acoustic renditions of the songs so would help if you can handle the acoustic guitar, that would be most awesome.
