well said. i'm urging DS-1 fans to check it out simplay because the distortion voicing it offers is in line with the afore-mentioned. we note that too many manufacturers are busy offering drive-type pedals which are Tubescreamer-inclined.

metal muff and TS9 tubescreamer. If ypu can afford it get a morpheus, it has a noise gate.

hmm but i like the morhpeus' tone too, the distortion is IMO is better than a metal muff or Du Hast. But its a boutique pedal lah. so its really expensive.

distortion grade- manufacturers offer their version, if you like theirs, the others aren't duds. the Metal Muff has a fuzz quality to it, which may or may not be your thing.
