guys, need some advice

if im gonna play live would the watts of the my amp be important or the size of my speaker cone?

thankew...

imho only

some venue doesnt need any amp at all, everything can be connected via a di and broadcast thru pa.

Some will just mic up the amp and theres no need to up the vol on the amp too much before it starts to irritate everyone else

just imho and pertaining to the questions ask. No other factors involved

Agree with PRM.

Will be useful to have 12" speaker at least to cover the bass response. Some like multiple 10" too, tend to sound more midrangey.

But really depends on your avenue. Some places you can even work with a practice amp, others you can't work without miking up even a 50 watter.

gibbytones, which section of the forum should i move this thread to?

gibbytones, loudness doent matter. use the amp that sounds the best to you. if you need it louder, just mic it up and send it to the house speakers.

wait, haven't ask you what kind of room you are playing in? coz this makes alot of difference.
