Wah adds too much volume

I'm using a tenspot wah 2. Its a clone of the ibanez w10 grey version. Its a great wah. But like the original ibanez wh10, when the wah is activated, it adds a lot of volume to the existing signal. Like almost twice.

When i use the wah live, it becomes quite a big problem.

Any ideas how to deal with that ? any possible modification?

oh just to be clear, I'm using the 1st generation of tenspot wah 2, it doesnt come with the volume control. The newer tenspot wah 2 comes with a built in volume control

your wah might be on the wrong placement in your effects loop.

U should put your wah before your dirt pedals. Best if its first in line or after your tuner.

i put it AFTER my drive pedals for a more aggressive sound..
But i did i tried putting it before the drive pedals and its still just as loud.
