Hi everyone,


Anyone has any experience using vPost to ship guitars from the USA? How reliable is it? I would hate to have my package arrive in poor condition.... any advice will be greatly appreciated!

not shipped guitars but Ive used it to import various other items and electronics. never had an issue. that said, they have an option in the shopping cart if you wish to insure the item.

I have negative encounters with them- they took half a year to address a fundamental issue.

you can also try to use ComGateway.

they have an option where you can purchase to get a confirmed shipping price.

have shipped guitars before. they will also insure though of course its mandatory and builds up final price.
received my guitars under a week.
no CITES issues either.
just note that they will ask for an EIN from your seller if value is above USD 2500, in which case if your seller either refuses to apply for an EIN, Comgateway will ask for a scan of the refusal and apply for the EIN on their side.
