Just to give more info... i play mostly electric blues( or at least i intend to).... Should i buy individual pickups or get those 1 set got 3 inside one.... Lace sensor or SD?

thor666 New member May 3, 2007 #6 If you want cheap aftermarket vintagey - SD California 50's matched set. You can always hunt for 2nd hand MIA stock pups - they are more than decent imo. (Most of them, anyway)

subversion Moderator May 3, 2007 #7 Davis does carry the HOT/ Vintage noiseless set but haven't seen them lately... the last Fender pickup i bought there was the 57/ 62.

S suckasucks New member May 3, 2007 #9 nothing wrong with lace sensors/high output. clapton uses lace sensors and SRV used custom wound higher(although not that high) output pickups too. if you really want quality you can try the fender custom shop 69s. heard they're really good.
