Hi guys,
Just wondering if you guys have any recommendations to repair my sansamp bass driver DI?
The unit powers up fine via battery or phantom and accepts the signal from the instrument
the vol, blend, treble, bass, drive knobs all feels smooth and the tone changes when I tweak them
But when I turn the presence knob, the knob feels kinda loose (loose pot?) and doesn't respond to the knob turning. though when I fully turn the presence knob, there's a slight pop and the input cuts suddenly.
In short, the presence knob is not working, and is having some problems blending with the blend and drive
I have tried opening it to take a look, but am unable to reach inside to replace the pot.
Hopefully it's just a malfunctioning pot, and not some circuitry problem.
If anyone has experience in repairs of this sort or know of anyone, please pm me.
