This VM5 is suited for bass players who love the old-school thump of the P bass, but with greater versatility and looks. The P pickup has a very full-bodied round tone, and matched by a more aggressive Powerbucker at the bridge. This allows the player to switch from Motown to Rock instantly! There is also a Series/Parallel switch for the Powerbucker if a smoother tone is desired. Another lovely feature is the 6 bolt neck for optimum sustain and punch!
