Queries about Singpost

Hi, I got a small query about receiving items from overseas. It's gonna sound stupid so bear with me:

I bought 300+ SGD worth of stuff from an overseas distro more than 2 months back, and being the cheapskate that I am I decided not to have it registered. The item is in a large parcel and around 10kg+. I know that for registered articles if nobody at home they will slip in a note to notify the person that the parcel is available for collection, what about non-registered parcels?

Hope to get some advice, cos its been more than 2 months and the seller hasn't been responding to my emails as well...

do check with singpost if theres anyway that they can check. But do be prepared for worst that singpost not going to be responsible since the parcel aint registered

ya im still hoping for the best since the label warned that it could take 6-10 weeks for delivery cos it is done via surface mail... Thanks!
