I invest in a lot of quality tools from Stewmac for all my repairs.
And most of the time, its all I need to get the job done, and done well.
Its was not until last monday that I realise the importance of PPE in guitar repairs.
So I was just working on this zebrawood guitar, have to route it a little.
Long story short, I breathed in some of the wood dust while routing and
caught Pneumonia. It was a really painful experience, had a 40 deg fever,
an expensive medical bill and worst I had to close for 3 days to recuperate.
Had I wore a mask, this could be easily avoided.
Lesson learnt the hard way... Ouch!
Beware of zebra wood!
