Powered 24-Bit Digital Reference Monitor and powered studio monitor.Is it the same?

Hi guys,

i would like to ask if a Powered 24-Bit Digital Reference Monitor and powered studio monitor is the same thing?

I'm running on pro tools into a projectmix m-audio and using a roland powered 24-Bit Digital Reference Monitor as my monitors?

is there any significance difference in the sound?should i iconsidered trading the roland in for the KRK rockit instead?

Every studio monitor should sound different. I think you are better off with KRK. You need to bring a track that you familiar with and test with different monitor. There is much more to know too. Like the cabinet built, type of driver.....etc.
