Need help with buying electronic drums

Ok I know all of you prefer acoustic drums for all sorts reasons. So do I, but because I live in a hostel I really can not use an acoustic drumset. My budget is not that large also so please don't tell me to go and buy Yamaha or Roland ones. I found two drumsets that I like best and can not decide which one of them to buy. I need your opinions on this. I'll compare them below:

Both of them have four pads (snare, 3 toms), bass, hi-hat, crash and ride.

Alesis DM5 pro
*No bass pedal, but I can buy one easily
*velocity-sensitive
*when you hit the drum it doesn't give the same sound but randomizes from a few
*there are 3 free slots to insert extra pads or cymbals
*I'm not sure where to buy it yet, I heard from somewhere that it's available in Paradiz but not sure

Medeli DD506
*cheaper than the Alesis one
*the rim of the snare can be hit for different sound, same for cymbal
*hi-hat has half-open feature (the alesis might also have but I'm not sure)

Guys please help me with it, thx in advance, and if you guys know of any other electronic drumsets available in Singapore please tell me...
