Hey guys, check out a recording i've done in my mini home studio.
i only recorded the guitar tracks. drum and bass tracks i got them from youtube.
no vocals cuz i cant sing. haha
I've tried Grunge and Metal song. I'll try recording rock and roll or some clean sounds when i have the time. in the mean time, enjoy

how i can improve, what do i need, hows the sound like, hows the mixing like.....
anything and everything regarding recordings. (not my guitar skills please) haha

I think that you pretty much have a good rig set-up. Though there is a slight hint of static in it though or maybe your amp is a bit too gainy, but nonetheless you got a good thing going on.

the vibe is really grungy which really suits the song. i nvr really knew how to get a good tone outta my zw microstack ahha

why do you mike up your 57 so far away from the amp? put it straight to the face man so it's got more bite

hmm i've tried that b4. but some how i liked the sound better when i placed the mic the way i did. i dont know, mayb im doing it wrong. but yea im gonna try out more mic-ing positions. and also trying to using 2 mics to do stereo recording.
