I am at my wits end trying to resolve some of the issues that I am facing on my brand new Axiom Pro 49. For starters, I am using pro tools 8 le on an iMac (version 10.5.6). The problems that I need help with are:
1. When I click on the Edit button, I can see the Edit Mode window on the screen with 1. Global, 2. Control, 3. Group, etc. However I am unable to enter any of these edit modes. Infact, I am unable to move the cursor at all... and as such cannot edit any of the parameters.
2. The Hypercontrol with ProTools works fine to a certain extent only. For example: I can play the keyboard and hear the sound off the XPand and I can even control the transport of PT8le, but thats about it... Nothing else! Furthermore, after I record an instrument on PT8le, the pitch of the track changes automatically on playback. However, when I press the right note on the axiom, the pitch gets corrected automatically.
3. The lcd screen is ALWAYS flickering. Is this normal?
Just FYI, I have updated the firmware, but still the same problems persist.
Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
