Hey there, started bass last december. Learned guitar from p6 to sec 3. When I say learn I mean just playing songs not theory. Heavily influenced by Jrock bands like Luna Sea, L'arc~En~Ciel and The GazettE. Also influenced by Two Door Cinema Club and RHCP.
I want to learn slap and pop technique and some theory that would be useful in composing basslines but not note-reading. So more of the practical stuff I guess.
Im a student and paying for this myself so Im not looking for an established teacher with degree in music or things like that. That also means I cannot afford expensive fees..Not looking for a teacher who actually plays electric guitar but thinks he can teach bass. I live in the west and Im free on weekends morning and evening. I only have a bass and amp so If you do not mind coming down thats fine but Im also able to travel.
