hi, my band which is yet to be named or have jam, so far we have a bassist (16yo), guitarist(25yo) and vocalist (24yo) all male
looking to form a band with papa roach, korn, rage against the machine, linkin park and most importantly LIMP BIZKIT (boiler is a must) as our influences
we're actually not just into heavy stuff, we listen to michael buble, paramore, boyce avenue, snsd, rhcp, mcr, etc, just that for this band we were going for a 'wake-up-on-the-wrong-side-of-bed-every-morning-feel' you know what i mean?
so for a drummer
- a slightly technical drummer (ghost notes, 16th note hh)
- can sort of keep timing (+- 5bpm) agar agar lar
- hopefully is in line with the influences we are looking for in the 2nd paragraph
so characteristics we're looking for
- age, race, gender is all open
- fun loving
- feels like the above music can help you unload some stress
- willing to feedback input, we might write some cranky originals if this goes well
- if we agree on say a song to jam, you actually go and pratice a bit before turning up for jamming, need not be exactly the same as the cd/mp3/youtube video, but at least get the parts of the song down
