Hi all,
While it's a great feeling to have a giant pedalboard at your disposable, sometimes it's better for your back and for the production team if there was as little gear as possible on stage. I've been experimenting with Ableton Live for use in church and have incorporated the Line 6 Helix Native plugin as a way to downsize my rig to just a laptop, an interface, and a cable. I'm not pressing or tapping anything in these videos:
The true beauty of a PC-based system is the ability to plan everything before hand. I can automate snapshot changes using Ableton's incredibly flexible and intuitive automation mode.
I personally enjoy automation because it means I won't make a mistake in engaging the wrong snapshot or preset.
