well, there are stores that sell 2nd hand Ibanez guitars. Guitar Connection, G77 just to name a few. they tend to be cheaper than brand new ones. just dont be picky about the cosmetics.

i am a total n00b who started taking electric guitar lessons a week ago.
i want to buy the ibanez s470dx, was thinking of the rg370dx but I read that the s is more versatile than the rg. also based on what i've read the zr tremolo in the s is a step over the edge iii in the rg.

what do you guys think? i hope i can get a decent discount on the s470dx.

also i want to buy a small practice amp, any recommendations.

if you are whammy reliant, the GRG270 (anything with non-edge unit) isn't one to invest in.
