Guitar suitable for playing blues

HI

I am looking for a guitar to play blues. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the Les Paul vs a F-hole hollow electric if i wan to play blues... is there any difference??

Les Paul will give you more bite.

F-Hole Semi-Hollow / Hollow aids more airy-ness. If you play your blues with more overdrive it might get noisy with this. Semi-hollows should be fine.

Either are good, just depends on your playing style.

There would be a significant difference between the two as one would have hollow wings.

I'd say watch some videos with those different types of guitars and try them out in person to see which one would serve your style of blues.

Don't leave out the good old stratocaster too.

And the pickups also play a huge part in getting that 'blues' sound.

Either one is still a good guitar for playing blues.

IMO, get a tele
