Mids are xlr, phantom power, ground lift, pre/post.
XLR, phantom, ground life allows you to use your pedals direct to board via balanced xlr and can operate without batteries or another spot on your pedal power.
Pre/post allows you to run "un-simulated" signal to amp on stage, and run "simulated" signal direct to board.
