FM4 or Zvex seeker And EHX Qtron?

all 3 are actually rather different
q tron is a envelop filter, in the vein of 'auto wah' type, where your playing dynamics will control the "wooooooaaaap" depth/strength. Think of geetar playing in a porno soundtrack
zvex seeker is a step sequencer filter where the guitar signal is as if being "chop up" as the signal goes thru the 4,6 or 8 filter in series. Think of frank zappa, ship ahoy(though thats kinda different pedal, a random sample and hold effect)
fm4 contained the above and much much more, but its a modeller. Theres different in the quality of the sounds you will get. This, is good, if you want more of out there sounds with some of the setting within, totally having bad tracking, but having its own unique id)

heh, sound quality is sujective. I have couple standalone effect that do those filter thingy and also the fm4.
The sound quality is different definitely, but in no way inferior. Its, different. But not in the way of good and bad, but just different.
In recording and live. No one is going to say whether the filter sound is good or bad, as long those filter effect, fit in the context.
i like the fm 4 coz theres not much of other effect, in pedal format, that has the wide variety of the fm4, in term of wacky sounds

i think you should go for the FM4 bro.. its very versatile.. it has the zvex seek wah setting inside it as well.
i borrowed my friend's FM4 and was pretty impressed. i actually thought of getting one myself but ended up settling for a Digitech Synth Wah for its size and price.
