okay anyway, does anyone know how to budget DIY record drums?
so far i've been using 3 vocal studio mics thru the PA mixer then to my laptop.

any tips like what mic to buy? or mic placement? or sh1t like that?

Find THE SPOT and use a condenser mic to pick up EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING.

I think Shure SM57 is a good mic for recording instruments.
