Extreme is back!

it's disheartening to hear that people actually know them for only 1 song... shows how good music fades off once too much hip hop crap is taking the scene... pls open your ears and listen more and dun be ignorant

i don't see how hip hop comes in here, that's besides the point really :)

in any case, in keeping with the topic.. i don't think the drummer's new, is he? did anyone watch Extreme play a Queen medley for the Freddy Mercury tribute concert? looks like the same drummer to me.

according to extreme's page...the drummer is not pat badger (forgot his name, i only care bout nuno anyway...haha)...should be from nuno's side bands...but not sure bout tat tribute concert...the latest one i've seen from nuno is guitar wars...

no need to criticise other genre la...music is up to individual's preference...i've heard of some hiphop mixed with rock which sounds nice as well...
extreme's got the hip too! cupid's dead!

The bassist's name is pat badger, drummer is paul geary, haha. Well yea, it's a different drummer from their past 4 albums. Can't wait to hear what their new material is like. I peronally enjoyed pornograffitti and III sides to every story the best!

oh well sorry i left out emo and other thrash too besides hip hop. These are the kind of music that hogs the current music scene that young ignorant pple listen to, thats why when u say "extreme" no one will know. You need to say "the more than words band" then people will be "oh ya that one i know". Sadly, In Da Club would be chosen over Kid Ego or Hip Today by today's teens.

No offence just my 2 cents

haha...nuno screwed up some solo for "play with me"
half step up at latter part of solo...haha...but it's freaking hard to play...i still salute him...he's still the best!

Yea, great band. Whoever thinks they are some pop ballad band because of their hit "more than words", should listen to their album "pornografitti".
