Duncan Strap Lock

how do u use a duncan strap lock?

I removed the lock and just put it through my strap....and try to lock it back on the guitar but it doesn't seem to be able to get locked in deep enough...i just tug it and it's off

hmmm....do i need a screw driver?

Maybe i still didn't get it right....maybe someone can enlighten me =(

My guitar came with the strap lock so it has been installed already (if it requires any installation i seriously do not know) so i just press down the gadget and remove the lock...

The lock say looks something like this --|-||

the tip is pointing to the left...there's a circle thingy right after the tip so i put my strap through the tip and FORCED it past the first circle thingy. Had a hard time doing that. or do i need to post pictures lol

i can't find any resources online
