hi all,

i want to get some advice on capos if any has any? like i see there are those clothes peg type or strapped type. which is more suitable?

i use a electric guitar les paul copy. heard from some that capos destroy necks and all, nv tried, nv seen, is it true becos electric guitar has a relatively thinner neck.

any brands of capo cheap n good to use?

I prefer those elastic ones. Even if they lose their elasticity, they're cheap enough to be replaced easily.

I have had bad experience with those clamp-on kinds as they really really hurt the finish of my Gibson SG Standard, probably cause it's nitrocellulose.

I'm using a Jim Dunlop Trigger capo. Fairly standard clamp-on type. No issues at all regardless of which of my guitars I'm using it on. I used to have a GHS elastic-band capo and it lasted quite awhile actually, so you can consider that if you're on a tight budget. Yes, cheap enough to replace once the elastic band gets too soft.
